Support Our Troops, Inc. (SOT) is operated by an all-volunteer membership.  Membership dues pay all of our operating expenses.  Therefore, 100% of all donated funds are used for our charitable mission of supporting our troops.

SOT has been a 501(c)(3) organization since 2007 and our charitable giving budget has grown to $70,000 in 2012.  We receive individual and corporate donations and also hold a golf tournament and silent auction annually to raise funds.  Again, 100% of all donations received are sent to the troops through various programs.

Donated funds are used to send care packages to men and women serving in Afghanistan.  Other means of support, such as cards and letters are sent to military personnel stationed out of combat zones.  In addition, a portion of our funds are sent to other charitable organizations that support our military men and women.  These include Iraq Star which provides reconstructive surgery to wounded soldiers and Patriot Paws which is an organization that trains service dogs for our veterans.
